Ally Equipment Co. was founded in 1987 by Craig and Mary Jean Riddle to provide commercial laundry and dry cleaning customers with fair and honest treatment, as well as high-performance equipment. Today, the company has grown to become the area’s most prominent laundry and dry cleaning equipment and parts provider. Dedicated to prompt, high-quality care, and offering value-added services, including facility design and development, Ally Equipment partners with operators in the vended and commercial laundry industries and dry cleaning/fabricare markets.


Timeline

1987

Craig and Mary Jean Riddle start Ally Equipment and operated out of the back office of Econo Wash Coin Laundry. Craig held 17 years of experience in the sale, installation and servicing of laundry and dry cleaning equipment. Together, Mary Jean and Craig had renovated and owned several coin laundries.

1989

John Allen joined the company and Ally Equipment becomes a sales leader for Miraclean, Wascomat and Unipress in Utah and Idaho.

1992

Became distributor for Columbia Dry Cleaning Machines and earned sales awards in 1993, 1995, 1998, as well as Wascomat sales awards in 1992 and 1998.

1999

Craig and Mary Jean constructed Riddle Plaza, which now houses Ally Equipment.

2000-2006

Ally Equipment is awarded multiple sales.

2007

20th Anniversary and Gregg Townsend joins company to expand service offering in parts. Ally Equipment now supplies Ajax Press parts, as well as troubleshooting and finishing advice to Ajax Press owners across the globe.

2009-2012

Ally Equipment adds Continental Girbau®, LG® and Sports Laundry Systems® to product offering.

2017

Ally Equipment reaches their 30 year anniversary.
